Introduction

LimeKiwi voice agents are AI team members that talk on the phone for your business. Each agent answers calls, rings new enquiries within a minute, works through call lists, qualifies people, books meetings, hands hot leads to a person, and tells your team how every call went.

What an agent can do

  • Answer calls to its own phone number, any time of day.
  • Call new leads fast. A website form or CRM sends the lead in, and the agent rings them within a minute (during calling hours).
  • Work call lists. Import a list and the agent dials it within calling hours, retrying people it doesn't reach.
  • Qualify people on the questions you choose, and record the answers in its Data table.
  • Book meetings into its own diary, your Google or Outlook calendar, or a booking app such as Cal.com or Cliniko.
  • Transfer hot leads live to a person or a desk in your phone system.
  • Text people a link, confirmation or payment link after they agree to it.
  • Report every call: a summary, the outcome, the next step and the answers it collected, by email or SMS and into your connected apps.

How a call works

Behind each call, a few services work together in real time. The caller's voice is turned into text, the AI decides what to say (using the agent's playbook, knowledge and tools), and the reply is spoken in the agent's voice. Each part has a backup that takes over mid-call if it fails.

Phone line
Twilio, or your own phone system over SIP.
Hearing
Deepgram turns speech into text and notices when the caller has finished talking.
Thinking
Gemini (with Claude as a backup) decides what to say and when to use a tool.
Voice
Fish Audio speaks the reply in the agent's voice: Australian by default.
After the call
A summary, the outcome and any collected answers are saved and sent to your team and apps.
