Connections
Custom connections (MCP)
Give an agent tools from any app that has an MCP server, like custom connectors in ChatGPT or Claude. Admins add them on the agent's Connect tab.
- 1Open New custom connection and give it a short name.
- 2Paste the MCP server URL (streamable HTTP).
- 3Choose its sign-in: none, a Bearer API key, or a key in a custom header.
- 4Tick that you trust it, then save. Its tools are read and listed.
- 5Switch off any tools the agent shouldn't use.
- On calls
- Each tool is available to the agent; it says a hold line while one runs.
- Refresh tools
- Re-reads the server's tools after it changes.
- Test calls
- Only tools the server marks read-only really run.
- Limits
- Results are capped at 4,000 characters. Only public addresses are allowed. OAuth sign-in isn't supported yet.
A connection can see what the agent sends it and its replies shape what the agent says. Only add servers you trust.
