Call flow
Design calls like a flowchart on an agent's Call flow tab: boxes for each step, joined by arrows.
| Step | What it does |
|---|---|
| Start | The greeting: where every call begins. |
| Say | Says something and moves on without waiting. |
| Ask & save | Asks a question and saves the answer as a variable, like {budget}. Use a Data column's name to keep it on the lead too. |
| Branch | Goes different ways. Strict rules check saved answers ({budget} is more than 5000, {owner} is yes); or the agent decides from what they've said. |
| Book meeting | Offers times and books. |
| Transfer | Puts them through to a person. |
| Send text | Offers one of the agent's messages by text. |
| Custom action | Calls another system's web address (with {variables} filled in) mid-call and saves what comes back. |
| Jump to | Goes to another step, for loops and retries. |
| End call | Says goodbye and hangs up. |
- 1Click a step type on the left to add it, or start from the sales template.
- 2Drag from the dot under a box to the next box. A branch has a dot for each way out, plus Otherwise.
- 3Click a box to edit it on the right. Select a box or arrow and press Delete to remove it.
- 4Save, then try it with a Test call or the Test Center.
The agent follows the flow in its own words, answers anything off-script, then comes back to its step. Strict branches are decided by the rules, not the agent. Leave the flow empty to let it lead calls from its playbook.
